Shelton Kottheimer Ospovat
A horn bass drum trio based in Oakland playing free jazz inspired by the
lifestyle of the west. Shelton is known for his work in Chicago with groups
Dragons 1976 (with Jason Ajemian and Tim Daisy) and the Fast Citizens
(Delmark). Kottheimer relocated from Cleveland in 2004 and is known for both
his acoustic and electric bass playing as well as his experimental work in
Last chance for the Loneliest Kitten. Sam Ospovat plays regularly with
Willie Winant and is known for his work in Kids and Hearts.
