In his graduate work at Mills, Luke Selden engages in psychoacoustic research into the cognitive mechanisms that dictate our experience of reality, using bluegrass and disco music as the foundation for all experiments.
Originally from Norfolk, VA, Luke Selden has traveled extensively throughout the country, with periods of residence in Chapel Hill, NC and San Francisco, CA.
He recieved his BA in Music Composition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied with Allen Anderson and Mark Robinson.
